Welcome Back Sandburg!

Just as the kids counted down the days this spring, now parents know there are only a few more days until school starts!

The Welcome Back Social will be on the South Playground on August 12th from 3:30-5pm.  The PTO will sponsor Kona Ice as our special treat, so please complete this form if you are able to attend so we can plan accordingly.

First day back will be August 13th for 1st thru 5th grades - a half day dismissing at 11:50am.  Kindergarten students will start Thursday, August 15th with a full day of school. Please take a moment to review the traffic flow map, and see the arrival and dismissal doors to ensure a safe and smooth start to the school year.  Reminder, the typical school day is 7:50-2:45pm, with a soft start (doors open) time of 7:35am.  Wednesdays 8:50-2:45pm.

School Supplies, all pre-ordered kits will be delivered to the appropriate classroom for each student.  Note: a few minor items are not included in the kits (tissues, wipes, etc.), so take a moment to review your supply list here.  All school supplies should be with your student on their first day of school, or assessment time for kindergarteners.

Don't forget, Infinite Campus App has information on your students assigned teacher, and any fees due. To pay for your yearbook early, under optional payments, add a yearbook if desired.

Calling all Kindergarten families! Join the Sandburg PTO, Principal Keri McCabe and fellow parents as we mark the start of school. This is a chance for us to connect with you and answer any PTO or community questions you may have!  Or maybe you want to get more involved at Sandburg and don’t know where to start. This is a great opportunity to also meet other Kindergarten families!! 

We'll have breakfast goodies, coffee and tissues if you need them. This is a very casual event so please stop by and grab something even if you can't stay.
