SUBJECT: Sandburg PTO Run4Funds Friday and Much More

Happy October Sandburg!

Run 4 Funds is this Friday, and we are halfway to our goal, but would love your support!  Please share the link to donate and volunteer if you can.  Remember, this is our biggest fundraiser of the year, and helps pay for those very appreciated paras, and supporting the entire Sandburg staff!  Friday will be the last day to collect items in the Lost & Found - so please check before they are donated.

The Spooky season is beginning and it's time to think about Sandburg's First Trunk or Treat!  See the flyer below and have fun decorating a trunk or table with friends or family.

Don't forget The Stride hosted by LPS. This 5k/10K race is more than a run, and a great way to support Sandburg. And finally, mark your calendars for a guest speaker coming to our school, Lara Baker, Attorney, will address social media, cyber-bullying, drugs, alcohol, consent laws and school disciplinary consequences.  This adult only presentation will help participants prepare for potentially challenging situations.

Thank You Home Tour!

This years Cherry Knolls Home Tour raised over $5,000!  This funding will be the base for the Sandburg Scholarship fund opening up new opportunities for students who may not otherwise be able to participate.  Thank you to all those who contributed to making the tour a success and those who participated!  The homes were beautiful, but it's the whole community that makes it all exceptional!
