As we welcome the season of giving, we have some exciting and meaningful events lined up that you won’t want to miss!

Last Chance to RSVP: Speaker Series with Lara Baker This Wednesday, join us for an informative evening.  Lara, will take us through the mindset of a criminal defense attorney to better enable us to protect our children as they learn in challenging times with technology, drugs, and more.  Parents can gain fresh perspectives that could transform your approach to protecting and helping your student(s).

Next week, Sandburg's Annual Book Fair!  Please volunteer to help our students shop, and get your reader all set with an easy to establish eWallet!  Remember, this event raises funding that purchases new books for the Sandburg Library - it's a win-win!

Spring Fundraiser Auction Items Wanted: Mark your calendars for our Spring Fundraiser April 12th! We are in search of items for our auction that will not only excite but will also benefit our amazing Sandburg family.

Southglenn Parade: November 22nd Get into the holiday spirit by joining us at the Southglenn Parade on November 22nd! This annual event brings our community together in celebration, filled with holiday cheer, local performances, and family-friendly activities. We’d love for you to participate or simply come out and enjoy the festivities!

Help the Backpack Society Provide Meals: We’re excited to promote the Backpack Society who helps provide meals to those in need. We encourage you to contribute non-perishable food items or funds to support this compassionate initiative. Together, we can make a significant impact and ensure that every member of our community has a warm holiday meal.

Save the date for a fun Parents Night Out! Join other Sandburg parents for an evening of crafting, socializing and sipping at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, December 6, 2024 at Upstairs Circus Englewood — a perfect chance to unwind and get creative! It's book fair time & we need you! This is always a lot of fun and if you volunteer you often get first dibs on the goods that can go quickly. All purchases go toward buying new books for the library and it's a great way to get started on your holiday shopping list.

Typically the Book Fair raises a few thousand dollars each year that goes directly into new books for the Sandburg library, so your time is extra valuable!

The account owner simply adds funds and/or invites family and friends to contribute. As we gear up for our Spring Fundraiser which will be happening on April 12th, we invite you to contribute items for our auction!

A great place to start is reaching out to companies you work for or with to ask about what they may be able to provide. Maybe your company has season tickets to the Nuggets, maybe a friend is a local chef who would donate a private dining experience - the possibilities are endless. Whether it’s a handmade craft, gift certificates, or unique experiences, your donations help make our event a success and support our school programs

The holidays are back at the Streets of SouthGlenn and Sandburg is once again joining in on the fun!  Please join us on Friday, November 22nd for the 4th Annual Holiday Grand Parade at Streets of SouthGlenn. ALL SANDBURG STUDENTS AND FAMILY WELCOME!  Get out your festive hats AND all your holiday flair! Light up and glow accessories are encouraged - let's LIGHT UP the night with our Sandburg spirit! 

This will be our 4th year participating in the Grand Holiday Parade and you don’t want to miss it!  Not only will our school receive 30,000 points for participation, we will receive an additional 1,000 points per person that attends.
