Happy Thanksgiving Sandburg!

We hope this week brings everyone much love, joy, and happiness to you all! We are thankful for our entire Sandburg community — children, families, and staff. Sandburg isn’t complete without every one of you!

Thank you to those who were able to join in on the Streets of Southglenn Holiday Parade! The Sandburg Spirit was a sight to see, and a beautiful evening to enjoy friends and the Sandburg family. Remember - upload those pictures!

Help Support a Sandburg Family!

We are excited to officially kick off our annual Sandburg Family Holiday Giving Campaign. Our goal with this event is to support Sandburg families that may need some additional assistance this holiday season. Your contributions and donations are so appreciated and make a BIG difference for many!

As you begin to dabble in your holiday gifting, please consider giving to the 2024 Sandburg Holiday Giving Campaign! This is the 4th year for this campaign and we are excited to continue to spread some holiday cheer to our fellow families.

Holiday Giving Sign-up!

How the Holiday Giving Campaign Works:

Families are welcome to sign up for the Holiday Giving Campaign via the SignUp Genius. All items should be new and unwrapped.

There is a locked PTO "Drop Box" at school for all Gift Card Donations to the left of the main entry doors. If you drop your item in the Lock Box, please designate which family it is for - Family A, B, C, etc.
Please bring all donated items to the Front Office and place them under the lighted Snowflake area.
Student Council will assist each day by collecting and bringing items to collaborative collection area at the school. When you drop your items, please designate the Family Letter and child that it is for - example, "Family A, Child 1 - LEGO Set."
Please have all gifts to the front office by Friday, December 13th.

Sandburg Pride at the Holiday Parade

A huge thank you to the Sandburg Community for joining us at the Streets of Southglenn Grand Holiday Parade on Friday, November 22nd! Sandburg brought the festive spirit and had the largest attendance BY FAR at the parade. Thank you so much to everyone who joined us to ring in the holiday season. A special thank you to Andie Jones for her organization and hard work, and Mike Miller for the use of his beautiful Model T.

If you attended the parade, and took a photo, please upload it to the Street Smarts events form. Sandburg earns 1,000 points PER PERSON for everyone shown in the photo! Simply visit https://shopandlog.wufoo.com/forms/street-smarts-events/ to fill out the special events form.

Upload your photo by SATURDAY, November 30th, limit bonus one per person. Photo(s) must show all people attending to earn points. (Note that these photos will not be reproduced or shared, they are simply to verify attendance).

Sign-Up: Playground Pals

The easiest, low-commitment way to help out at Sandburg! A quick 1hr and 15min block to see and hear the fun happening at school. This program is designed for parents to help the school staff promote an inclusive, safe and fun environment during lunch recess. It's a great way to add a fun surprise to your child's day - Volunteer!
