Valentine's Day reminders: Classes will hold their parties on 2/13 from 8 - 8:50 am.  For improved distribution, please prepare Valentines for the class with only the "From" portion completed.   Room parents have communicated any specific teacher requests, and there are still spots open if you want to assist in making Valentine Bags with your student(s)!

Remember, the Spring Auction Fundraiser is approaching, and we're off to a great start. Mark your calendars for Saturday, April 12th.

Thursday, February 6th, Jonathan Levesque, Assistant Director of Finance for LPS, will be presenting on finance/funding (district level).  This will be your opportunity to hear about staffing for next year, whether we will receive the extra pool point again, and get clarity on projected staffing.  

The two main responsibilities of the CSSAC are:

1. To make recommendations to the principal on the school priorities for spending school funds; 
2. To make recommendations to the principal and superintendent concerning the preparation of a school Unified Improvement Plan.

Please join us at 6pm in the Sandburg Library for this important information.

Reminder, the Lost & Found is starting to fill up once again!  Please take a moment or send your student to look for any missing items.  The Lost & Found is housed in the front entrance vestibule, but beginning Monday, 2/3, the collection will be moved in front of the gym to encourage searching.  Beth Fleming, L&F lead volunteer, currently runs a Facebook Group to keep in touch with missing items and more.  Feel free to follow and see if any of your student's belongings pop up in the pictures!
