SUBJECT: Sandburg PTO: Get Your Tickets!

Sandburg,

We hope you enjoyed the long, snowy weekend!  As we settle back into our routine, we have fun ways to support our school.  Join us tonight at Mici's! Not only will you get to savor some mouthwatering dishes, but a portion of the proceeds will go directly to our school programs. If you can’t make it to Mici's, don’t worry! This Thursday, we’ll be welcoming Kona Ice after school for a refreshing treat, while the weather is so nice!

A big thank you to Dru Ahlborg from the Bullying Recovery Resource Center and all the parents who attended our Speaker Series last Wednesday!

Mark your calendars for our annual Sweetheart Dance! This cherished event will take place on March 14th, and it’s a wonderful opportunity for parents and children to bond and create lasting memories. Tickets are now on sale!

Don't forget to sign-up for Parent-teacher conferences just around the corner.

We are excited to announce a new volunteer opportunity for those looking to get involved! We need help updating the school sign out front. If you are interested, please check the sign-up genius for this easy and flexible way to help our beloved school.

Navigating Bullying Together

Speaker Series: Wednesday, February 19th

Thank you Dru Ahlborg from the Bullying Recovery Resource Center.

Dru provided insight into Bullying and the resources available to parents and advice as to how to handle.  Dru is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of BRRC, mother of two and parent of a child that was severely bullied.

A heartfelt thank you to all the parents who attended our Speaker Series last Wednesday! Your presence and participation made it a success. We hope you found the discussions insightful and inspiring. If you have any feedback or suggestions for future topics, please reach out—we’d love to hear from you!

Help Sandburg earn up to $2500 by shopping at dining at The Streets of Southglenn and logging your receipts! Sandburg uses these funds for school supplies, events materials, teacher appreciation meals, and more! This is a big one for our school, as we have won 1st Place in past years ... but the competition is tough this year and we need your participation.

Submitting receipts is quick + easy. See How to Submit Receipts video for instructions. Tip: use your smart phone to enter and take a photo of your receipt to make the process super easy.

You may also leave receipts in the box in the front office to be submitted if you prefer.
