SUBJECT: Sandburg PTO: Neon Nights Success & Book Swap

Sandburg,

Neon Nights was a magnificent, successful and enjoyable event! A huge shoutout to Jess Pramov for chairing the event, along with her team members Monica Dosen, Andrea Fitch, and Amy Nelson!  We raised $14,000 for Sandburg, which will directly support our school, including para support - the largest expense that the PTO can help fund for our students.  We extend our gratitude to everyone who donated auction items and to those who attended, plus generous donations that made the event such a success.

Thank you to everyone participating in the Book Swap! We have thousands of books available to refresh your students reading selection.  If you're interested in helping sort books, please contact Robyn Kline at sandburgptocomms@gmail.com. Later this week, we will provide a sign-up for helping kids shop for their books by classroom. It's easy, quick, and truly heartwarming to see the excitement on the children's faces as they choose their books!

Destination Imagination was a great success in our first year, and many have expressed interest in getting involved.  We will hold a Parent Informational Meeting at 6 pm on Monday, April 21st, as parent support is crucial for this program.

The STEAM Fair is Tuesday, April 22nd.  Please check out the hard work our students have put forth from 6:00-7:00pm.

Get involved with PTO.  We have open positions for the 2025/2026 School Year - see more below.

Don't forget that there is no school this Friday, April 18th or Monday, April 21st. We hope everyone enjoys the long weekend.
