As we enter the last two weeks of the school year, let's finish strong! 

You're invited to the Retirement Party tonight to honor Principal McCabe, Mrs. James, Mrs. Brotherton, Mrs. Dallapiazza, and Mrs. Lindquist. We will hold the celebration immediately after school on the Upper South Playground.  Please join us in recognizing their many contributions to our great school community.

Join us for our last PTO Meeting of the year: tonight!  Our new principal, Lindsey Sieck, will be in attendance, and Mrs. McCabe will provide a facility financial recap.  Additionally, Kelley Reppe will present the PTO financials, so please turn in those PTO reimbursement receipts by Wednesday, 5/14, via email or to the front office. Nikki Vivion will also give us a run-through on new Sandburg Swag, plus next year's executive board will be voted in! 

Attention 3rd - 5th Grade Families!  We need 8 more volunteers for Field Day on May 20th.  Please consider offering your time for this last chance to volunteer from 9 am to 11 am.  Make the Looney Tunes games a memorable experience for all our students.  Sign up!  For Field Day Only - Lost & Found will be relocated to the South Playground for families to reunite with missing items!

Destination Imagination interest deadline for the 2025-26 school year is May 23rd.  Please complete the Google form for students entering grades 3-5, keeping in mind that this program is heavily dependent on Parent Volunteers.

Reminder: Lost & Found will be relocated to the South Playground during Field Day to help find those missing items!

Student Schedule:

• Grade 3-5: 9:00 am - 11:00 am (approximately)

• Grade K-2: 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm (approximately)

Remember, your student(s) will need:

• Water bottle clearly labeled with your child’s first and last name and class.

• Comfortable athletic shoes.

• Comfortable clothes suitable for getting wet (or a swimsuit with shorts).

• A jacket or sweatshirt for cooler weather.

• Sunscreen.

Next Tuesday, 5/20, the Lost & Found will temporarily be moved to the South Playground along the outer wall during Field Day.  At the end of the day, Lost & Found will be displayed outside the gym hallway by the PTO cabinets until donation on the last day of school.
