Hi Sandburg!

Now that the school year is underway, we hope you can join us tonight for the PTO meeting.  We will meet in the Sandburg Library at 6 pm. Please buzz in at the front entrance and follow the signs to the library.  

We have an exciting opportunity for volunteers who enjoy planning parties!  In February, the PTO will hold a parent-only party, and we are looking for enthusiastic members to form a fun and successful committee.  If interested, please email: sandburgpto@gmail.com

Playground Pals is back!  Learn more about this enjoyable, quick, and easy opportunity below.  

We are gearing up for our biggest fundraiser of the year: Run4Funds!  The in-school assembly launch will take place on  September 19th, and our run is scheduled for October 3rd!  It's a great way to watch or even make a few laps with your kiddo.  More details below.  

Tomorrow, we have an Out & About event at Little George's where we earn 20% of dine-in and carry-out sales.  Saturday is the Chalk Art Festival at Streets of Southglenn.  

Don't forget to meet the PTO & CSSAC Boards at Max Taps, Thursday, Sept. 25th.

Playground Pals is designed for parents to help the school staff promote an inclusive, safe and fun environment during lunch recess.  It's a great way to add a fun surprise to your child's day + you can Volunteer when it suits your schedule!

Meet the PTO & CSSAC!  The Sandburg Parent Teacher Organization & Carl Sandburg School Accountability Committee would like to meet and hear from you!  Please consider dropping by on Thursday, Sept. 25th at Max Taps between 6 - 8pm.  

We will be available for questions or to hear feedback on what you need to make this a great school year for your student(s).  This is a casual open-house style event, and children are welcome.
