SUBJECT: Sandburg PTO: Successful Run4Funds & Fall Festival Reminder Volunteer Spots! [copy]

Good Morning Sandburg!

Run4Funds was a tremendous success with students collectively running over 13,000 laps! We've made it to 95% of our fundraising goal, but to help us reach 100%, please consider contributing today and updating/making those "per lap" donations. Remember, donations are due by this FRIDAY!  More information below.

The Sandburg Fall Festival currently has 8 amazing families representing, but we would love to see every classroom show their spirit.  If you need inspiration or would like to collaborate, reach out to your room parent for ideas or to join forces with another family.  Whether you create a game, design a craft, or just build a fun "trunk" for those trick-or-treaters, your participation will make the festival even more special!  Learn more below.

Please join us next Tuesday for the Sandburg PTO Meeting on October 14th at 6pm in the Library.  Please buzz in by the front office and turn right to find us.  Your involvement helps support our school community!

Parent-Teacher Conferences are scheduled for next week.  Be sure to sign up for a meeting with your student(s) teacher(s).  Then join us Thursday night, 10/16 at Skate City to kick-off the long weekend off from school.

Tonight, enjoy a meal at Mici's Italian for our Out & About, and they will generously donate 20%  of proceeds back to Sandburg!

This is the final reminder to sign-up for Membership Toolkit and complete the Room Parent Communication Opt-in.  Doing so will ensure you continue to receive all important communications.

Stay in the know by visiting the Sandburg PTO Website.

Thank you, Sandburg families, for making last Friday’s Run4Funds such a huge success — and for bringing the sunshine with you! Our students ran a total of 13,147 laps, which equals 822 miles around the track!

A quick reminder for per-lap donors:

  • If you pledged a per-lap donation, please note that your card was not automatically charged. You’ll need to visit the donation site and finalize your payment by Friday, 10/10.
  • Use your child’s Run Card (which lists their total laps) to guide your donation. If your child ran more or fewer laps than you expected, you’re not locked into that total — you can choose the final amount you’d like to contribute to the school.

Every donation helps us get closer to our goal and directly supports Sandburg students and programs. Thank you for your incredible generosity!
