SUBJECT: Sandburg PTO: Happy Halloween!

Team Sandburg,

What an incredible weekend it was! We are grateful to everyone who contributed to making the Fall Festival such a memorable and enjoyable event. Your enthusiasm and participation helped create a fantastic atmosphere, and some of you even headed to Spooky Streets afterwards!  Don't forget to submit those photos to Streets of Southglenn by Halloween! 🎃

Plus, we appreciate everyone who joined us for The Stride on Sunday!

Prize Day for Run4Funds added even more excitement to the week last Thursday, and we're not slowing down yet.

The Book Fair is just around the corner (details coming soon), and it's a great time to get a few holiday gifts while helping the Sandburg Library at the same time!

Come see your kiddos in costume! Our Halloween Parade kicks off at 1:20 on Friday on the south playground. After the parade, individual classroom parties will take place, offering more festive fun for everyone.

We'd also love for you to join us next Tuesday for an Out & About at Varsity Inn. It's a great chance to connect with other Sandburg families and skip a night of cooking.

Run 4 Funds Prize Day!

Thursday, October 23rd was Prize Day for our team of fundraising runners, and they had a blast! Kids celebrated with a giant hamster ball, pig races, and jumbo building blocks!

Team Sandburg exceeded our fundraising goal of $55k, and will be able to continue funding our amazing staff and helping our students. THANK YOU for your support!

Fall Festival

We had an incredible turnout for Sandburg's 2nd Annual Fall Festival this year. We hope that everyone who attended had a great time!

Thank you to Nikki Swafford for planning such an amazing event, and thank you to all of the families who donated candy and treats to be passed out at all of the stations.

We sent the kids home with a wild amount of goodies and couldn't have done that without your contributions!

We would also like to extend a HUGE THANK YOU to the following: Kate Bell, Jenny Binning, Kate Crowley, Kelly Engulu, Erica Ferlin, Allison Hawes, Sydney Lambert, Danielle Lawrence, Andrea Lyons, Elizabeth Kellogg, Alexis Reno, Tori Rosenblatt, Amy Schultz, Erika Sorenson, Ashley Stolz, Megan Vaughn, Katie Yarian and their family/friends that set up trunks and activities that made the festival such a success!

It was so fun to see all of your creative ideas on display and they brought so much happiness to the kids for the evening.
