We hope you had a safe and enjoyable Halloween!  As we transition into November, we are looking forward to a few events before the holiday break.  

Tonight, please join us a night off from cooking and games at The Varsity Inn for our Out & About.  20% of Dine-in & Soda sales come back to Sandburg!

Next week Tuesday is our PTO meeting, and all are welcome!  It's an easy way to stay informed and offer input. Or join in the CSSAC Meeting on November 18th!  

The Scholastic Book Fair will be here November 10th - 13th, and it's a great time to get a few holiday gifts while helping the Sandburg Library at the same time!  Please consider volunteering at the fair - training will be provided.

Friday, November 14th, we will hold our first Donuts with Grown-ups event.  Students will have the chance to introduce their close friends or family members - such as grandparents, aunts, uncles, and others - to Sandburg.  Please remember to mark your calendars and RSVP so we can ensure there are enough donuts for everyone!

After the holidays, we are excited for our Prom Part Deux Fundraiser on February 20th.  Mark your calendars and learn more below!

Sandburg will continue collecting Non-perishable items at the front office for St. Andrew Market for those in need.  Please review high demand items below and pitch-in if possible!

Prom Part Deux - February 20th

Last year’s Spring Fundraiser - Neon Nights - was one for the books; we danced, laughed, and raised over $14,000 for Sandburg Elementary! This February, we’re turning up the fun again with Prom Part Deux, an adults-only night inspired by the best of Pretty in Pink, She’s All That, and every epic movie prom you wish you’d been invited to. Expect a DJ spinning all your favorites, great food, and plenty of sparkle as we celebrate the incredible Sandburg community.

Tickets will go on sale in early December, so start planning your outfits and prepare to relive the magic — this time, with better music and no curfew!

We need your help to make it all happen! We’re looking for:

• Auction donations — gift cards, local experiences, services, or unique items.
• Prom Committee volunteers — help plan, decorate, and bring the night to life.

The holidays are back at the Streets of SouthGlenn and Sandburg is once again joining in on the fun!  Please join us on Friday, November 21st for the 5th Annual Holiday Grand Parade at Streets of SouthGlenn. COME CHEER ON SANDBURG STUDENTS in the parade! 

This will be our 5th year participating in the Grand Holiday Parade and you don’t want to miss it! This year we will have select 5th grade representatives and Cub Scout and Girl Scout troops within our community representing Sandburg in the parade. Come to watch and enjoy the festivities (real reindeer, Santa's arrival and tree lighting)! 

This annual event brings our community together in celebration, filled with holiday cheer, local performances, and family-friendly activities.  Plus, Sandburg will receive 1,000 points per person that attends. Simply snap a photo of your group to upload! (Note: these photos are not shared anywhere, they are simply used as proof of attendance).

Shopping or dining at the Streets of Southglenn? Remember to save and submit your receipts for points towards funds for Sandburg! All receipts dated and submitted Nov 16 - Jan 15 will earn 15 points per dollar. It's very easy to submit receipts at www.shopandlog.com/sandburg
