SUBJECT: Sandburg PTO: Book Fair This Week & Donuts Friday!

Happy Tuesday Sandburg!

Our annual Book Fair is in full swing this week! A great opportunity for our students to dive into new adventures through reading. 

During their library time, students will create a wish list of their favorite books. Remember, if you make a purchase, 25% of all sales go back to the Sandburg Library for new books.  

We'd still love morevolunteers to help with wish lists, organizing, or at the registers. Sign up today!

Donuts with Grown-ups is this Friday, Nov. 14th. Please RSVP by the end of TODAY!

Thank you to all who contributed to the St. Andrew Market in the East Community Center. We will continue to collect through the end of the day on Friday, Nov. 14th. See below for more details.

One more reminder, the PTO Meeting has been moved to next Tuesday, Nov. 18th, and the CSSAC Meeting will immediately follow. Please join us in the Sandburg Library at 6pm - and consider staying for both meetings to know more about our great school.

As we approach the holiday season, please mark your calendars for the upcoming breaks! We want to ensure that you have all the information you need to plan family activities and celebrations.

Save the Date! Prom Part Deux Feb 21st

Sequins, Shenanigans & Support for Sandburg!


Last year’s "Neon Nights" Spring Fundraiser was one for the books. We danced, laughed, and raised over $14,000 for Sandburg! This February, we’re turning up the fun again with Prom Part Deux, an adults-only night inspired by the best of Pretty in Pink, She’s All That, and every epic movie prom you wish you’d been invited to. Expect great food, a DJ spinning all your favorites, and plenty of sparkle as we celebrate the incredible Sandburg community.


Tickets will go on sale in early December, so start planning your outfits and prepare to relive the magic. This time, with better music and no curfew!

We need your help to make it all happen! We’re looking for:

  • Auction donations: Gift cards, local experiences, services, or unique items.
  • Prom Committee volunteers: Help plan, decorate, and bring the night to life.

A big thank you to all who donated to the St. Andrew's Market located at the East Community Center. Our first round of donations was very appreciated as they had an increase in "shoppers" this week.  

We will continue to collect through the end of this week - so feel free to bring something from the list below when you stop in on Friday to have a donut with your favorite student(s)!
