Weekend Update:

Team Sandburg,

Just a few reminders to get your week started right: 

  • Teacher Drawing entries are due: MONDAY, March 16th!  The drawing will be held Thursday, 3/19.  
  • Teacher Appreciation begins this Monday!  I hope you have a moment to create a note, letter, or picture for our "Blossom Where You Teach" theme to show our staff how your student has grown.  
  • Thank you for the Sandburg "Village" that worked tirelessly to raise over $40k for our school with Prom Part Deux!  Please recognize the individuals below for their kind contributions.
  • Spring Social Friday, April 3rd.  Please buy your tickets so we can get an accurate attendance count!

Last Call: Teacher Drawing!

This is a fundraiser aimed at offering kids the opportunity to spend extra quality time with their favorite teachers and staff. The Sandburg Staff is generously donating their time AND these experiences for which the kids can purchase tickets. Each ticket is a chance to “win” these special “experiences” with that staff member. All proceeds will go to support the ‘26/27 PTO Budget, helping to fund paraprofessional staff support and various school equipment purchases/improvements.

Most raffle tickets cost $2.00 and can be purchased online through this LINK.  Please complete your ticket purchases by March 16th.


The drawing will be held live on Thursday, March 19th during the lunch periods for each grade, with prizes being awarded shortly thereafter. A MASSIVE THANK YOU!

$40,000 Raised for Sandburg Students

We are excited to share that Prom Part Deux raised over $40,000 for Sandburg Elementary, surpassing our $35,000 goal.

It was an incredible night. The fashion was on point, the music was banging, and the dance floor stayed full. Most importantly, the evening generated meaningful support for Sandburg students and staff.

Events like this take a tremendous amount of effort and rely on families and volunteers who step forward to help make them possible. When more people participate, the impact for our school grows even stronger.
