Sandburg’s biggest fundraiser of the year kicks off Thursday, September 24.
This year, our goal is to raise $50,000, or about $100 per student, to support programs and resources for Sandburg students. With tighter school budgets and growing needs, the funds we raise together can make a meaningful difference in what we’re able to provide for our school.
And we need the whole Sandburg community to help us get there.
Every donation matters. You can help by donating to your student, then sharing their fundraiser with grandparents, relatives, friends and others who may want to support Sandburg.
Start Fundraising Now
Visit the Run4Funds websiteto donate directly and use the Parent Portal to start sharing your student’s fundraiser.
It only takes a few minutes:
1. Go to the Parent Portal
2. Enter our school password: mountainlions26
3. Enter your student’s first and last name.
4. Email: Use the provided email template to send your student’s fundraiser to family and friends. You can enter up to 10 email addresses at a time.
5. Social media: Use the provided buttons to copy the fundraising message and share it on your social channels.
When someone clicks the donation link you share, your student’s information will already be filled in, making it easy for them to donate.
Emails sent through the Parent Portal also count toward your classroom’s Email Campaign goal.

First Deadline: September 30 at 5 PM
Don’t wait until Run Day to start fundraising. Our Email Campaign and Early Bird Donations are due Wednesday, September 30 at 5 PM, and there are some fun incentives for getting started early:
30 emails sent per classroom = Pencil Charms for the class
$5,000 raised school-wide = Popsicles on Run Day
$10,000 raised school-wide = Foam Party on Run Day! 🎉
A donation, a few emails and a quick share can go a long way when the entire Sandburg community participates.

Did you know your employer may match your Run4Funds donation?
Many companies offer corporate matching programs, which could double the impact of your contribution to Sandburg. Companies can also make corporate donations directly.

Run Day Is Friday, October 2! 🏃
After all that fundraising, it’s time to run.
Students will run for 30 minutes with their grade on Sandburg’s 1/16-mile track. Please send your student in comfortable clothes and running shoes with a water bottle.
And families are invited to come cheer on our runners!
We also need parent volunteers to help with bracelets, popsicles and other Run Day activities.
