Run4Funds - The Final Push

Run Day is THIS Friday, October 2, and we still have a ways to go to reach our $50,000 goal!

This is an important week for Run4Funds, with our Email Campaign and Early Bird Donation deadlines coming up Wednesday, September 30 at 5 PM.

There’s still time to make a difference. Head to the Go to the Parent Portal to send emails and texts to friends and family and check how much your student has raised so far.

Parent Portal password: mountainlions26

Wednesday’s goals:

- 30 emails per classroom = Pencil Charms for the class

- $5,000 raised school-wide = Popsicles on Run Day

- $10,000 raised school-wide = Foam Party on Run Day!

Every donation and share helps move us closer to our $50,000 goal, so don’t wait. Send those emails and texts and keep sharing.

Run Day Is Friday

It’s almost time to run! Families are invited to come cheer on our students, and we still need volunteers to help make the morning a success.

Run Schedule:

K-1: 8:30 - 9:15 AM

2-3: 9:25 - 10:10 AM

4-5: 10:15 - 11:00 AM

Students should wear comfortable running clothes and shoes. A special Run4Funds T-shirt will be provided.

*Please note, if you do not want your child to have an Otter Pop popsicle after the run, please contact Monica Dosen monicascotharris@gmail.com.

We also still need parent volunteers to help with bracelets, popsicles and other Run Day activities. Sign up here.

Fall Family Photos Are This Sunday

There’s still time to grab a spot for our Fall Family Mini Photo Sessions this Sunday, October 4 from 2-6 PM.

Each session is approximately 10 minutes, making it an easy way to update your family photos for holiday cards, gifts or just because, all while raising money for Sandburg.

Spots are still available, so scan the QR code below or visit this link to reserve your session and pay in advance.

We also need a few more volunteers on Sunday. If you can lend a hand during the event, please sign up here.

Learn More About the LPS Mill Levy Override

The LPS Board of Education has voted to place a Mill Levy Override (Ballot Measure 4A) on the November ballot. If passed, the Mill Levy Override would provide essential funding for teachers, staff, and programs in Littleton Public Schools.

Families interested in learning more about the campaign or volunteering during election season can visit the Citizens for LPS website. If you have any other questions or would like more information on when, where, and how to volunteer, you can also attend our next PTO meeting to learn more.

Lost & Found

Missing a sweatshirt, water bottle, lunchbox or something else?

Remind your student to stop by Lost & Found on the way to the cafeteria and take a look.

All remaining items will be donated on October 14, so please check for missing belongings before then.

Join Team Sandburg at The Stride!

The 31st Annual Stride is Sunday, October 25, and participating is a great way to support Littleton Public Schools and Sandburg.

This year, $15,000 in Health & Wellness grants are available through school contests, including $2,000 for the elementary school with the highest participation. The more Sandburg families who participate, the better our chance to earn additional funds for our school!
