We're getting excited for Fall Festival/Trunk-or-Treat this Friday, October 23. We still have room for trunks and would love to see more Sandburg families join in the fun. If you've been thinking about hosting a trunk, there's still time to sign up.

The Stride is also coming up on Sunday, and our Parenting Through Puberty workshop is next Wednesday.

Our Fall Festival/Trunk-or-Treat is this Friday, October 23 from 4:30-6:30 PM, and we'd love to have a few more families sign up to host trunks or plan some fun games.

Hosting a trunk is a fun way to get involved and help make the event special for our Mountain Lions. Decorate your trunk, bring some treats and join us for an evening of Halloween fun.

Whether you can volunteer your time or contribute a bag of candy, we'd love your support.

The 31st Annual Stride is this Sunday, October 25, at the Littleton Museum, and we’d LOVE to see a big Sandburg turnout.

We're rallying together to help Mr. Rowe get a NEW ROPES COURSE for our students.

This year, $15,000 in Health & Wellness grants are available through school contests, including $2,000 for the elementary school with the highest participation. The more Sandburg families who participate, the better our chances.

Choose from the 5K Run/Walk, Kids Fun Run for children 10 and under, or the new Wheelchair 5K. 

Whether you run, walk or cheer everyone on, we’d love to have you come out and represent Sandburg.

Let's see if we can bring that $2,000 back to Sandburg and put it toward Mr. Rowe's new ropes course!

Parents of girls ages 7 - 12, this one is for you. Join us at Sandburg on Wednesday, October 28 for a special Parent Education Night focused on navigating puberty with confidence, understanding, and connection.

Led by Kandice Garcia, RN, this 90-minute workshop will help parents better understand the physical changes of puberty and learn practical, age-appropriate ways to talk with your daughters while building trust, body confidence, and connection. 

Agenda:

● (15 min) Common challenges when talking with kids about puberty

● (35 min) The anatomy and physiology of puberty

● (20 min) Supporting your daughter through different stages (ages 7-9 and 10-12)

● (20 min) Feelings, resources, questions

Come learn, connect, and leave feeling more prepared to support your daughter through this important stage of life.

Mark your calendars! The Sandburg Book Fair is coming November 9-12, bringing plenty of opportunities for students and families to discover their next favorite read.
