Let's make some noise, Sandburg....we hit our Run4Funds GOAL!!!! After tallying the final numbers from cash/check donations and corporate donations, we came in just over $60,000! What else can we say other than THANK YOU!
These funds will directly support staffing in our classrooms and other important improvements within the school! Starting the school year with a fundraiser that does well puts our school and community in a much better position for our continuing fundraising efforts for the remainder of the year.
As an added bonus, the entire school will get to enjoy all the fun on prize day - including an inflatables party, FlashPod party and Dippin Dots on Wednesday, October 25.
October is going to be a busy month for Sandburg! We have several events coming up including an Out & About at Mici's Italian in SouthGlenn on 10/17, our Glow Party at Skate City on 10/19 and Spooky Streets at SouthGlenn on 10/20. On October 24th, Sandburg will be hosting a "Meet the Candidates" forum with 3 of the 4 candidates vying for a position on the LPS Board of Education. We have also just launched a new fundraiser - for the entire month of October, 50% of each Krispy Kreme dozen you order is donated back to Sandburg. Keep reading below for all the details.
