We have just a couple quick items to share this afternoon. First, we are excited to share the details for the 2023 Sandburg Family Holiday Giving Campaign. Our goal is to support Sandburg families that may need some additional assistance this year. Please consider helping a fellow Sandburg Family. Your contributions and donations are so appreciated and make a BIG difference for many! Keep reading for more details.

Just a reminder that TONIGHT is the Holiday Grand Parade at Streets of SouthGlenn. Join Sandburg families in marching through the Streets in a parade that escorts Santa, Mrs. Claus and their elves to their holiday home at SouthGlenn. Bundle up while sporting any Sandburg gear and holiday flair to promote our mountain lion spirit.

We are excited to officially kick off our annual Sandburg Family Holiday Giving Campaign. Our goal with this event is to support Sandburg families that may need some additional assistance this holiday season. Your contributions and donations are so appreciated and make a BIG difference for many! 

As you begin to dabble in your holiday gifting, please consider giving to the 2023 Sandburg Holiday Giving Campaign! This is the 3rd year for this campaign and we are excited to continue to spread some holiday cheer to our fellow families.

How the Holiday Giving Campaign Works:

Families are welcome to sign up for the Holiday Giving Campaign via the SignUp Genius. All items should be new and unwrapped. 

• There is a locked PTO "Drop Box" at school for all Gift Card Donations to the left of the main entry doors. If you drop your item in the Lock Box, please designate which family it is for - Family A, B, C, etc.
  
  
• Please bring all donated items to the Front Office and place them under the lighted Snowflake area.
  
  
• Student Council will assist each day by collecting and bringing items to collaborative collection area at the school. When you drop your items, please designate the Family Letter and child that it is for - example, "Family A, Child 1 - LEGO Set."
  
  
• Please have all gifts to the front office by Friday, December 15th.

We are excited to be participating in the 3rd Annual Holiday Grand Parade at Streets of SouthGlenn! All Sandburg students and famlies are welcome!!

EVENT DETAILS:

• Date: Friday, November 17th, 2023
• Location: The Streets at SouthGlenn - 200 E Commons Ave, Centennial, CO 80122
• Time: 5:00pm - 8:00pm
• Staging Details: All students who want to walk are welcome to. If you are participating in the parade, staging will take place between 5:00pm and 5:30pm in the Sears Parking Lot - 7001 S University Blvd, Centennial, CO 80122. Please be in place and ready by 5:30PM. Parade will start at 6:00pm sharp.
• Dress Festive! If you are planning to walk with Sandburg in the parade, please wear your Sandburg Gear and holiday flair.

EARN 1,000 POINTS AT THE PARADE!

If you are not walking in the parade, please make sure to take a picture of your family enjoying the event and upload it so that Sandburg receives points. Each person appearing in the photo will earn 1,000 points for Sandburg in the Street Smarts program.
