Staff Appreciation is NEXT WEEK!! The theme: "You Lift Us Up!" Let’s show some appreciation to our wonderful Sandburg Teachers & Staff the whole week of May 6th-10th.
Please look for communication and sign ups from room parents to contribute to your children’s classes. If you don’t receive communication from your Room Parent, please email Amy Nelson, our Room Parent Coordinator at: amy.jill.miller@gmail.com
Week Day Themes:
Monday: Show your love! Students bring in a note/picture/card telling how the teacher/para lift them up!
Wednesday: Color Day! We are never BLUE with a teacher like YOU! Kids will bring in blue items for their teacher/para.
Friday: Favorites Day! Kids will bring in favorite items for their teacher/para.
Tuesday and Thursday will also have themes, but look for communication from your room parent for your classroom specifics.
Remember, this week should not be a large financial commitment for families. It is a week to showcase our love and appreciation for our teachers and staff in a fun and clever way. The idea is that this is STUDENT driven and your children can have a fun time participating and celebrating the staff members that make the biggest impact on them!
The handmade gifts, notes and special thoughts your students share with their teachers this week makes the biggest impact.
Celebrate ALL Sandburg Staff
We hope this week will be a fun celebration of our Sandburg staff. This week is meant to celebrate ALL staff, and classroom sign-ups are not meant to deter anyone from doing fun and nice things for Specials Teachers, the LSS and Mental Health Teams, our administration and front office, and EVERY other staff member that makes Sandburg special. If your child is specially connected to someone, please celebrate them in any way you choose!!
PTO will also plan to celebrate our staff with small tokens of appreciation and gratitude, and a few yummy meals/treats through the week.
