SUBJECT: The Stride & Donations Due Tomorrow!

We need you at the Stride!!!

We're so excited that The Stride is almost here! It's just 2.5 weeks away...have you registered? If you haven't registered, please register by Friday, October 25th in order to count toward the school contests. This is such an amazing event...a chance to walk and/or run with Sandburg families as well as the greater LPS community.  


When: Sunday, October 27, 2024

What: The Stride 5k/10k, Kids Fun Run, and Wellness Expo

Where: In-person at Littleton Museum or virtually wherever you want

Why: Because it's fun and feels good to participate

Help Sandburg Win $2,000

In order for a chance to win one of the $2,000 prizes, we need YOUR help!! We are looking to get 100+ participants from Sandburg registered for the STRIDE. 

This is an amazing family event and you will not regret signing up! Sandburg has been fortunate to have won this prize for several years, and with this money Mr. Rowe has been able to purchase new PE and recess equipment for the students to enjoy. 

***All registrations MUST be completed online by Friday, October 25th to count toward any of the school contests. ‘Day of’ registrations will NOT be counted toward the school challenge. ***

Early Packet Pick-Up

Friday, October 25, 2024, 2:00 pm - 6:30 pm

Location: Littleton Public Schools Education Service Center, 5759 S. Windermere Street, Littleton, CO 80120

Packets will also be available on race day beginning at 7:30 am


Sandburg tent at the Expo 

Come stop by the Sandburg tent before and after the race for some hot chocolate, coffee and fun with fellow Sandburg families, the 5th grade student council and our amazing mascot Sandy!

How to Help This Week

  1. Finalize all online donations
  • Note: if you have donations that are not showing up online, it is most likely due to a misspelled name or nickname. Please be assured that we will match all donations prior to prizing, no donations will be missed! 
  1. If you received cash or checks from donors, please turn them into the front office in an envelope clearly marked with your student(s) name and their teacher’s name. Checks should be made out to Sandburg PTO.
  2. Check out the Classroom Goal chart and Check your student’s donations. If they are close to earning the next prize, consider reaching out to additional donors! Every little bit helps!
