Thank you to all who braved the weather for last nights first speaker series event. We are so fortunate to have Lara Bakers legal insight to preventing tough situations for our beloved students.
While some of the subjects are hard to stomach, Lara offered simple practical advice. namely, having early conversations surrounding prevention. Did you know that the average teen spends an average of 4 months worth of continuous time online? And yet only 48% of parents look through teens calls and messages. Lara also highlighted the book "Anxious Generation" by Jonathan Haidt for further understanding.
