SUBJECT: Sandburg Dance Details & Drawing Entries Due

Dance Details

Please join us Friday, March 14th (PI day) for our Sweetheart Dance at Powell Middle School!  Tickets* can be purchased in advance here, but prices will go up if purchased at the door.  


It will be an exciting night of fun, with food, photo booth and dancing!  Music by DJ Bryce. Bryce has done many LPS dances and knows how to bring the fun and get everyone on the dance floor.  Sandy will be available for pictures: donations encouraged! 


This dance is for ALL Sandburg students! Each student is required to bring ONE adult guest with them. Adults must stay for the entirety of the evening.  Or parent volunteers are still needed for free admission!


Dress Code: Whatever you are comfortable with - it will range from tux to jeans - have fun!  


Parking:  The entrance to Powell will be through the back doors adjacent to the main gymnasium. *All other entrances will be locked.* 

Park in one of the two main lots then walk past the courts/blacktop to the back of the building, as shown by the white arrow. Street parking is also available along Corona Way.


*Note: If on Tuesday, you noticed that the one adult + one student tickets were sold out, please try again! Maximums have been removed.

It's time for the TEACHER DRAWING!

Help us reach our fundraising goal and give your kid(s) a chance to "win" these special "experiences" with their favorite staff member! Remember, 100% of the proceeds will go to Sandburg to support the ‘25/26 PTO Budget and potentially some current budget items, helping to fund paraprofessional staff support and other school improvements.

Each raffle ticket costs $1.00 and can be purchased online through this LINK.  Please complete your ticket purchases by March 16th.


The drawing will be held live on Thursday, March 20th during the lunch periods for each grade, with prizes being awarded shortly thereafter. 


If you made your submission and did not pay digitally after clicking submit - you do not need to re-submit your selections!  Simply go directly to the CheddarUp payment form and update the quantity to reflect your selections and submit payment. 

  • Be sure to use the same email address you used to make your selections for the drawing, and then populate the dollar amount for the selections that you made, click submit, and follow the additional prompts.

  • If you would like to send in cash or check (made out to Sandburg PTO) please do so with your child's name and your email and put it in the PTO mailbox just inside the front entrance of the school.
