Just like last year, students will be able to "trade in" outgrown or unwanted books for "fresh" reading material for the summer. The PTO has funded additional popular reading material to supplement the collected volumes.
Books in Good condition can be placed in the labeled Black & Yellow bins near the front office entrance by 4/14. Please label books with the Student's Name, Grade, and Teacher - ideally, bagging all books together with a label inside and out. All Easy Readers will count as 1/2 credit, and board books or "free books" will not be counted for credit, but will be donated if not selected by students.
Students will "shop" for new-to-them books 4/22 - 4/25.
Donations are very welcome and additional credits can be "gifted" to a specific teacher, or to the program for students without credits to shop at the end. Simply note any unwanted credits that can be shared. Please email sandburgptocomms@gmail.com if you have questions!
