SUBJECT: Sandburg PTO: PTO & CSSAC Meetings TONIGHT!

Sandburg Families,

Our annual Book Fair was a great success. Thank you to Mrs. Mosley for her organized guidance and to the many volunteers that were essential.  More details below!

The PTO Meeting is tonight, Tuesday, Nov. 18th, and the CSSAC Meeting will immediately follow. Please join us in the Sandburg Library at 5:30 pm - and consider staying for both meetings to know more about our great school.

At Sandburg, we support our community through the Sandburg Outreach program and the Holiday Giving Campaign. Families in need can contact Principal Lindsey Sieck for these resources. We aim to ensure every child has access to enriching experiences. Next week, we'll share a sign-up link for those who want to help Sandburg families.

Thank you for those who donated to St. Andrew's Market!  We were able to make another delivery last week and help those in need.

Save the date for the Southglenn Parade on Friday, November 21st.  Please remember to snap a picture and upload it if you go to give Sandburg points!

See a few pictures from our first Donuts with Grown-ups this past Friday, and don't forget to check the Lost & Found that will be donated in December!

A Note from Mrs. Mosley:

Dear Sandburg Community,

Thank you! Thank you! for making our Scholastic Book Fair an outstanding success! Year after year I am totally wowed by our students and families' love of the book fair.  Nothing pleases me more than the fact that we love books at Sandburg!

This year our gross sales of $21,000 beat all our past records! As a result we raised over $4,000 in cash for the library and in addition we were also able to purchase over $1,600 in new books from Scholastic for our eager and enthusiastic readers!

None of this would be possible without the wonderful support of our families, volunteers, and staff. I especially want to thank a long list of volunteers that signed up to help this year. I am so grateful for all your hard work setting up and then later packing up the fair, running the registers during the day and for our busy after school times, and for enthusiastically helping all our students with their excited visits to the fair.

Too Sweet Friday

Last Friday was a sweet morning!  We had a great turnout for our first-ever Donuts with Grown-Ups event, with nearly 300 students and grown-ups joining us for a warm and welcoming start to the day.  The room was filled with good conversations, happy faces, and plenty of donuts and coffee to go around.  Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make this a meaningful event for the Sandburg Community.

Save the Date! Prom Part Deux Feb 21st

Sequins, Shenanigans & Support for Sandburg!

This February, we’re turning up the fun again with Prom Part Deux, an adults-only night inspired by the best of Pretty in Pink, She’s All That, and every epic movie prom you wish you’d been invited to.

Tickets will go on sale in early December, so start planning your outfits and prepare to relive the magic. This time, with better music and no curfew!

We need your help to make it all happen! We’re looking for:

  • Auction donations
  • Prom Committee volunteers

If you’d like to donate an item or join the committee, please fill out this quick form so that we can get in touch. Your creativity and energy make all the difference so let’s make Prom Part Deux a night to remember!

Thank You!

A big thank you to all who donated to the St. Andrew's Market located at the East Community Center. Our second round of donations was well received and highly appreciated!
