Why Do We Fundraise?
Like all Littleton Public Schools, Sandburg believes in and delivers a higher standard of education to our students. We know it’s what you’ve come to expect, and for many of you, it’s why you choose Sandburg for your children. Unfortunately, the funding we receive from the state of Colorado isn’t enough to provide the level of educational support we know you’ve come to expect. So, we bridge that gap through fundraising.
Where Does the Money Go?
- Staffing - The bulk of the money we raise is used to help fund Paras support for the classrooms.
- Community Events like meet the teacher social, staff appreciation, field day, Kindergarten breakfast, Veterans Day, 5th grade reception, etc.
- School Equipment like risers for music, furniture, etc.
- Operational Expenses
- Enrichment Support (like art and stem supplies)
- We always maintain a balance of $10,000 in reserves.
DIRECT GIVING: If you want to donate directly - here's your spot! You can set up a one-time or monthly donation, if you choose. If you prefer to write a check, please make it out to Sandburg PTO and send it to the school.
Fundraising GoalsHelp us reach our fundraising goal for the 2025-2026 school year! Our goal this year is to raise $70,000. Remember your monetary contributions are tax-deductible and many companies will match your donation and double your family's giving.
